A new Season of 24 has started and it is crazy
For those of you who aren't familiar with the TV show 24, you should go out buy/rent/download/steal the DVD's or episodes and start watching because are missing out on a really good action/thriller/action TV series that will almost always leave you wanting to know more after each episode. Kiefer Sutherland (a CANADIAN actor!) is the star and he is good.
I didn't start watching 24 until I overheard my co-workers in IBM talk about it everyday or after each episode. I decided to ignore them for most of the term until one day I was so bored off my ass because I probably couldn't log into World of Warcraft that I went to go get it off my friend to watch. I watched the first episode, it was alright, most likely because I didn't really know the characters. When I watched the second episode, I was instantly hooked, it was sooooo crazy. Let me tell you this, the show is really interesting because people don't follow standard procedure. One mistake leads to the next, but its usually quite hard to know what is going to come up next.
I know this all sounds like I am selling something. But you should try watching it. If you aren't afraid to have an entertaining time, go and check it out. In the mean time, I am sitting around wondering what is coming up next.
Anyway, Season 5 has just started (January 15th 2006) and man, didn't see any of the stuff coming. I think 24 is going to have some impact on my marks now hehe. Each week, I keep thinking about what might happen the next episode, and by the time I watch it I am usually caught off guard. 24 is definitely a hot topic amongst my friends. Some of us even yell at others for revealing spoilers because I can't watch the shows right away.
NOTE: I apologize because I started watching the series at Season 4.
